The Information Post

Signs are all about information, and everyone knows exactly what a sign looks like. Or do they? The best part of my day is helping people figure out what kind of sign they need. If it's a paper sign, we can sell you the frame to hold that piece of paper, to make it a sign. Like this.

Signs are confusing. Everyone knows what a sign is, but let three people describe one, and you'll get three completely different answers.
This is why it's difficult when new customers call and say "I want a sign, sort of like the one I saw at the corner of East Town Circle & CityStreet Road, but larger and flat."

Did you know that everyone sees colours slightly differently? This makes colour-matching truly an expensive exercise in frustration I mean art.
Try explaining different colour perceptions & processes to someone who wants exactly what they see on their 3 year old computer monitor, to match the physical sign we'll supply. Tricky. Very tricky.

This is why I've posted colour charts of most of the lamicoid materials, they give you an idea of what's most popular and available. There are many materials and digital printing processes these days that can easily fool the eye into believing vinyl is metal.
Less expensive too, of course. We make signs that you can't tear into pieces, but we don't want you to loathe us when the text changes, and you have to replace them. Or a new city by-law is cooked up, and all of your perfectly done text has to get smaller, or larger. Whichever is more expensive :)

MacGraphics makes signs that can't be torn into pieces. We value durability. We hope you do, too.
